How to tailor your Architect resume in three steps
- Mark the must-haves. Read the posting and highlight the tools, skills, and responsibilities it repeats or labels “required”.
- Match them to your real experience. For each must-have, find the place in your history where you actually did it, and move that evidence to the top — using the posting’s wording where it is honest.
- Cut what doesn’t help. Shorten or remove bullets that don’t support this particular job. Two strong, relevant lines beat six generic ones.
That’s exactly what renewed.cv automates: it extracts the requirements, rewrites your real experience around them, fact-checks the result against your original, and shows you a before/after match score.
Common Architect resume mistakes
- Omitting project value, size, or performance numbers
- Not stating software versions and standards used
- Listing responsibilities without engineering outcomes (savings, yield, uptime)
