Pune offers Digital Marketing Manager openings across IT, automotive and engineering. Each employer words its postings differently, so one generic resume won’t do. Tailor yours to the posting and the local conventions (one to two pages).
Digital Marketing Manager hiring in Pune
Local employers span IT, automotive and engineering. If you have experience in these sectors, say so clearly, for example by naming the industry in your summary and showing results with SEO, Paid media and Google Analytics. Never claim experience you don’t have.
Resume conventions in India
- Typical length: one to two pages.
- Local note: Indian resumes commonly list education prominently and skills clearly; international employers expect quantified achievements.
What a recruiter checks first on a Digital Marketing Manager resume
In marketing and content hiring, the first read is fast. These are the things that matter most:
- channel results with numbers — traffic, leads, CAC, ROAS, conversion
- tools and platforms from the posting (GA4, HubSpot, Ads platforms, SEO tools)
- proof of strategy and execution, with a link to a portfolio or published work
Keywords hiring teams look for in a Digital Marketing Manager resume
Applicant tracking systems and recruiters search for specific terms. For Digital Marketing Manager roles these come up most often — include them only where they are true for you:
Before and after: how a Digital Marketing Manager-style bullet improves
Generic
Ran email and social campaigns for the company.
Tailored
Launched a 6-step lifecycle email program that grew repeat purchases by 22% and added $180K in quarterly revenue on a $4K budget.
Illustrative example. Numbers like these should always come from your own real results — useful metrics for this field include traffic, leads, CAC, ROAS, open/click rates, revenue attributed, audience growth.
How to tailor your Digital Marketing Manager resume in three steps
- Mark the must-haves. Read the posting and highlight the tools, skills, and responsibilities it repeats or labels “required”.
- Match them to your real experience. For each must-have, find the place in your history where you actually did it, and move that evidence to the top — using the posting’s wording where it is honest.
- Cut what doesn’t help. Shorten or remove bullets that don’t support this particular job. Two strong, relevant lines beat six generic ones.
That’s exactly what renewed.cv automates: it extracts the requirements, rewrites your real experience around them, fact-checks the result against your original, and shows you a before/after match score.
