Freelance Writer resume for Together AI: tailor it to the job

Applying for a Freelance Writer role at Together AI? Like most AI labs and AI-native companies employers, Together AI receives far more applications than it can read closely, so the resume that gets shortlisted is the one that makes the match to the posting obvious in seconds. Here’s how to tailor yours.

What AI labs and AI-native companies employers like Together AI tend to screen for

• Evidence that you shipped models or LLM products, not only experiments
• Evaluation rigor: metrics, benchmarks, error analysis, cost and latency trade-offs
• Range from research to production, and speed of iteration

AI employers read many resumes full of buzzwords. State what you built, with which models and tools, and the measured result: accuracy, latency, cost, or adoption. Always read the specific Together AI posting: the team, level, and location change what matters, and the posting’s own wording is the best guide to what to mirror.

Keywords hiring teams look for in a Freelance Writer resume

Applicant tracking systems and recruiters search for specific terms. For Freelance Writer roles these come up most often — include them only where they are true for you:

The first group comes from typical Freelance Writer postings; the last few are common in AI labs and AI-native companies. Use a term only if it honestly describes your experience.

Before and after: how a Freelance Writer-style bullet improves

Illustrative example. Numbers like these should always come from your own real results — useful metrics for this field include traffic, leads, CAC, ROAS, open/click rates, revenue attributed, audience growth. For AI labs and AI-native companies roles, results tied to LLMs and RAG tend to resonate.

How to tailor your Freelance Writer resume in three steps

1. Mark the must-haves. Read the posting and highlight the tools, skills, and responsibilities it repeats or labels “required”.
2. Match them to your real experience. For each must-have, find the place in your history where you actually did it, and move that evidence to the top — using the posting’s wording where it is honest.
3. Cut what doesn’t help. Shorten or remove bullets that don’t support this particular job. Two strong, relevant lines beat six generic ones.

That’s exactly what renewed.cv automates: it extracts the requirements, rewrites your real experience around them, fact-checks the result against your original, and shows you a before/after match score.

Common Freelance Writer resume mistakes

• Saying "managed social media" without audience growth or conversion results
• No budget or scale shown for paid campaigns
• Listing tools but not the outcomes they produced

Recommended structure: Summary → Key skills & tools → Experience → Selected campaigns/portfolio → Education.
