Graphic Designer resume for Sky (MakerDAO): tailor it to the job

Applying for a Graphic Designer role at Sky (MakerDAO)? Like most Web3 and crypto employers, Sky (MakerDAO) receives far more applications than it can read closely, so the resume that gets shortlisted is the one that makes the match to the posting obvious in seconds. Here’s how to tailor yours.

What Web3 and crypto employers like Sky (MakerDAO) tend to screen for

• Work a hiring team can verify: repositories, deployed contracts, audits, on-chain activity, or published research
• Security awareness and careful engineering in an environment where mistakes are expensive
• Comfort working in fast-moving, remote, and async teams

Web3 teams value proof over adjectives. Link your GitHub, deployed contracts, audit reports, or research, and name the chains and standards you have used (EVM, Solana, ERC-20/721). Always read the specific Sky (MakerDAO) posting: the team, level, and location change what matters, and the posting’s own wording is the best guide to what to mirror.

Keywords hiring teams look for in a Graphic Designer resume

Applicant tracking systems and recruiters search for specific terms. For Graphic Designer roles these come up most often — include them only where they are true for you:

The first group comes from typical Graphic Designer postings; the last few are common in Web3 and crypto. Use a term only if it honestly describes your experience.

Before and after: how a Graphic Designer-style bullet improves

Illustrative example. Numbers like these should always come from your own real results — useful metrics for this field include conversion, completion rate, task time, NPS/CSAT, design-system adoption. For Web3 and crypto roles, results tied to smart contracts and DeFi tend to resonate.

How to tailor your Graphic Designer resume in three steps

1. Mark the must-haves. Read the posting and highlight the tools, skills, and responsibilities it repeats or labels “required”.
2. Match them to your real experience. For each must-have, find the place in your history where you actually did it, and move that evidence to the top — using the posting’s wording where it is honest.
3. Cut what doesn’t help. Shorten or remove bullets that don’t support this particular job. Two strong, relevant lines beat six generic ones.

That’s exactly what renewed.cv automates: it extracts the requirements, rewrites your real experience around them, fact-checks the result against your original, and shows you a before/after match score.

Common Graphic Designer resume mistakes

• A resume that is visually busy but not scannable by applicant tracking systems
• Skipping the business impact of design decisions
• Listing every tool instead of the ones the role requires

Recommended structure: Summary → Skills & tools → Experience → Selected projects (with portfolio link) → Education.
