• Local note: Vietnamese CVs often include a photo; IT outsourcing employers value English and technical stack.

What a recruiter checks first on a Performance Marketing Manager resume

In marketing and content hiring, the first read is fast. These are the things that matter most:

• channel results with numbers — traffic, leads, CAC, ROAS, conversion
• tools and platforms from the posting (GA4, HubSpot, Ads platforms, SEO tools)
• proof of strategy and execution, with a link to a portfolio or published work

Keywords hiring teams look for in a Performance Marketing Manager CV

Applicant tracking systems and recruiters search for specific terms. For performance Marketing Manager roles these come up most often — include them only where they are true for you:

Before and after: how a performance Marketing Manager-style bullet improves

Illustrative example. Numbers like these should always come from your own real results — useful metrics for this field include traffic, leads, CAC, ROAS, open/click rates, revenue attributed, audience growth.

How to tailor your Performance Marketing Manager CV in three steps

1. Mark the must-haves. Read the posting and highlight the tools, skills, and responsibilities it repeats or labels “required”.
2. Match them to your real experience. For each must-have, find the place in your history where you actually did it, and move that evidence to the top — using the posting’s wording where it is honest.
3. Cut what doesn’t help. Shorten or remove bullets that don’t support this particular job. Two strong, relevant lines beat six generic ones.

That’s exactly what renewed.cv automates: it extracts the requirements, rewrites your real experience around them, fact-checks the result against your original, and shows you a before/after match score.
