Local employers span media, insurance and chemicals. If you have experience in these sectors, say so clearly, for example by naming the industry in your summary and showing results with Technical demos, Discovery and Solution design. Never claim experience you don’t have.

• Local note: German applications use a reverse-chronological, tabular Lebenslauf; a photo is optional and increasingly omitted.

What hiring managers scan for in a Solutions Consultant resume

In sales and customer success hiring, the first read is fast. These are the things that matter most:

• quota attainment, deal size, pipeline numbers — near the top, not buried
• the sales motion that matches the posting (enterprise, SMB, outbound, inbound)
• CRM and sales tooling from the posting

Keywords hiring teams look for in a Solutions Consultant CV

Applicant tracking systems and recruiters search for specific terms. For Solutions Consultant roles these come up most often — include them only where they are true for you:

Before and after: how a Solutions Consultant-style bullet improves

How to tailor your Solutions Consultant CV in three steps

1. Mark the must-haves. Read the posting and highlight the tools, skills, and responsibilities it repeats or labels “required”.
2. Match them to your real experience. For each must-have, find the place in your history where you actually did it, and move that evidence to the top — using the posting’s wording where it is honest.
3. Cut what doesn’t help. Shorten or remove bullets that don’t support this particular job. Two strong, relevant lines beat six generic ones.

That’s exactly what renewed.cv automates: it extracts the requirements, rewrites your real experience around them, fact-checks the result against your original, and shows you a before/after match score.
